A farmhouse from 1574
From the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, today we bring you a farmhouse dating from 1574, which has been restored by the Hilatura studio in Bilbao, respecting and enhancing its status as a listed building. “The two sides that generate the back garden were found to be in a state of disrepair, which allowed us to open up the large window and give these elevations a more contemporary feel”.
This project involved local craftsmen and STUA furniture, breathing new life into a space with 450 years of history. It is only natural that a house with so much history should have timeless furniture.
