The Caminito del Rey has very extreme temperatures, so after a long walk, a cozy retreat like this house—along with its air conditioning—is truly appreciated.
We are just back from a weekend at El Caminito del Rey, a spectacular 8km walkway suspended along the vertical walls of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, in Málaga. It’s famous for having been one of the most dangerous paths in the world, with wooden walkways more than 100m above the Guadalhorce River.
We stayed in the heart of the Valle de Abdalajís, at Laloma, a house thoughtfully designed for the traveler’s wellbeing by Lícua, true admirers of STUA.
The large shared space reflects this perfectly: Onda stools in the kitchen, a solid oak Petal table with Laclásica chairs in the dining area, and in the living space, a Costura sofa, Calma armchair, and Pausa tables.
