Globus is a light, contemporary chair and stool design. The shape of the backrest reproduces the silhouette of a balloon, one of the objects that best conveys the idea of lightness and joy. This generously curved backrest hugs the back, providing surprising comfort. This design lends a casual, uplifting mood to any room. The collection includes the chair, the kitchen stool and the bars stool. Now we can match the Globus dining chair with the new stools.

The innovation of Globus chairs comes from three different aspects:

  • – STACKING STOOL: Most stools in the market are not stacking. Jesus Gasca always pursues his design to be more functional, that is why he has designed the stools so that they are stacking.
  • – BACK DESIGN: the organic-evolving shape that holds the backrest with extraordinary comfort. A shape that has become a recognizable design icon.
  • – FRAME: the super slim stainless steel frame is very strong and usable outdoor.
  • – PLYWOOD: the plywood seat and back of Globus come from sustainably managed french forests.

Together with Atehome, we present the renovation of this apartment in Bilbao.

The kitchen features walnut Globus chairs around the compact Zero table, as well as Globus stools at the breakfast counter.

Globus stool stacks! The new stool design has been made so that the stool can stack. This is an important improvement. They can be shipped in boxes of four units, so that we reduce the carbon footprint of the transport. A design that always stacks.
