Chillida Leku Museum & design
The 10th of January 2024 has marked one hundred years since the birth of Eduardo Chillida, one of the most popular and influential Spanish artists from the 20th century. With his roots in the Basque Country, his arms embraced horizons around the world, creating unique settings to bring society together. Chillida Leku Museum opened in year 2000.
This is the place where Chillida developed many of his works before it was a museum.We have collaborated with Chillida family, and now Hauser & Wirth, to make this environment, where his work was rooted, the meaningful place to discover his oeuvre. We invite you to follow this journey through almost 25 years.
