UNTITLED RESTAURANT AT THE WHITNEY |
||||
| UNTITLED RESTAURANT WHITNEY MUSEUM, NEW YORK MARCEL BREUER ARCHITECT One of the most important buildings in the architecture of XXth century: The Whitney Museum in New York, by Marcel Breuer architect, 1966. The restaurant at the cellar-level of the Museum has one of the widest spaces, and the largest windows. It has recently been refurbished by the David Rockwell Group for chef Danny Meyer. The Rockwell Group joined forces once again with famed restaurateur, Danny Meyer, to design a new restaurant and cafe at The Whitney Museum of American Art. To complement the mid-century-modern architecture of the Marcel Breuer building, the cellar-level restaurant offers an uptown take on the traditional diner with streamlined furniture and features. STUA is proud to be associated with the Untitled restaurant which uses the Gas chair.
