IFEBA, la Institución Ferial de Badajoz ha construido una nueva sede. El edificio es de nueva planta, en el que se ha instalado gran parte de la colección de muebles de STUA. La sede agrupa las oficinas de la institución, salón de actos polivalente, restaurante, cafetería y el propio espacio ferial. El edificio es sobrio y con volúmenes rotundos. La transparencia de algunas partes ilumina un interior industrial con una fuerte carga estructural. En ese entorno, los muebles de STUA ponen un contrapunto de ligereza que se complementa con la magnífica arquitectura. El resultado es un espacio polivalente, funcional y contemporáneo.
IFEBA is the Badajoz (Spain) Fair Institution. This building is near the city of Badajoz, in the borderline between Portugal and Spain. It is a new building with furniture from STUA collection. The space will be used for: the offices of the Institution, the auditorium, the restaurant, the cafe and the fairground itself. The building is very clean and with impressive volumes mainly for the use of the fairgrounds. The transparency of some parts of the building light up the industrial interior with a really big structural profile. The light STUA furniture make rich contrast with the architecture, reinforcing the value of space.The result is a polyvalent, functional and contemporary space.
